Ancestors is the companion website to a family history and genealogy television series aired by PBS, a US broadcaster. Although the site is aimed at a US audience, it features a number of case studies, tutorials and downloadable charts which would be useful to any budding family historian.

Sister-site to Friends Reunited, Genes Reunited includes a family tree-builder and allows users to not only find their ancestors but to connect with living relatives and to share information with others looking for information too. Basic membership of the site is free and expanded membership is offered at a cost. - Genuki
