Scotland

Registers of Adoptions are also held by the General Register Office for Scotland. They have a page answering Adoption Questions on their website.
Northern Ireland
Records of persons adopted under orders made by Courts in Northern Ireland on or after 1 January 1931 are held by the General Register Office (Northern Ireland).
